Your Surgery Day Experience
On the day of your surgery, you’ll arrive at a local licensed JCAHO accredited surgical facility for your procedure, having fasted at least 12 hours beforehand. Recovering from a Breast Augmentation

In the first few days after your breast augmentation, you won’t be able to do any heavy lifting – including lifting small children – and you’ll need to sleep either on your back with pillows propped up behind your back, in the fetal position, or in a recliner. You’ll be able to return to work about 7-10 days after your surgery and resume strenuous exercise about 4-6 weeks after your procedure. It’ll take about 4-6 weeks for your breast implants to settle, so don’t be alarmed if you notice some initial asymmetry in your early recovery period.
